I suppose this is "healthy"

They say that fantasy plays an important part in every relationship, and that it is healthy and normal. So over dinner last Friday, DH and I formulated our "Lists"...the list of people you have to allow your partner to sleep with if the opportunity, ahem, arises. As we made our lists we were allowed to veto people if there was a good reason.

We started off making a short list of people we wouldn't let the other sleep with...my list for DH consisted of folks like Carmen Electra, Yasmin Bleeth, and Pamela Anderson. See a pattern? DH didn't have anyone for my banned list....but that's because he needs time to think about it.

Off the top of my head, my list consisted of:
1) Ewan McGregor (yeah...like he wouldn't be on the list)
2) Jon Farriss (drummer from INXS)
3) Dan Jansen (Olympic speedskater)
4) Aiden Quinn (love those eyes)
5) Harrison Ford (I've got a thing for Indy, plus i'm his ideal age, ha ha)
6) Brad Pitt (whose list wouldn't have him?)

Alternates (these *could* be on the list, but I was trying to make a short list):
1) Scott Bakula or Colin Trineer from Star Trek: Enterprise, but they have to have the uniform
2) Mel Gibson, but his wife seems really cool and I wouldn't want to be a homewrecker
3) Pierce Brosnan, but he has to be in 007 mode, complete with gadgets

I can't remember all of DH's list, but those I do remember:
1) Jolene Blalock (I asked if I could have her on MY list, but was disqualified)
2) Natalie Portman
3) Jennifer Garner
4) Stacey Dragila (Olympic high jumper)
5) Tori Amos
6) Angelina Jolie (see #6 from my list above)
7) Winona Ryder

What's funny is, it was really hard to think of some of these people...you can usually name off the top one or two people on your list, but the rest you had to concentrate on. Also, we had to be discerning since our lists were supposed to remain under 10 people. I was amused when we were trying to figure out DH's list....he was having a hard time coming up with names, so I started suggesting some I thought he'd like, but he wound up vetoing. Even the people on his list he tried to veto on the grounds of something or another. Like Natalie Portman appears too young, because he always pictures her in "The Professional", which makes him feel creepy. Or like Jennifer Garner is pregnant, and he wouldn't want to ruin her relationship with Ben and all that. I had to keep reminding him this was *fictional*, and also *ideal*.

Now any time we see an attractive person on TV or in a movie, we're like, "Is he/she on your list?"
